STARTER
Starter — AI Visibility Audit
Find out what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews actually say about you. We baseline your AI visibility, fix the technical layer, and hand back a punch-list of 10–15 prioritised changes.
Starter is a three-month AI-visibility audit that establishes a measurable baseline across five AI platforms, audits the technical AEO layer, and returns a prioritised before/after change list — without on-site implementation.
Best fit: Companies that have never measured AI visibility · SEO teams who suspect they're missing AI traffic but can't prove it · Founders evaluating whether AEO/GEO deserves a permanent budget line

What does the Starter audit actually deliver?
A baseline of your AI citations on 15 queries, 5 platforms, plus a technical AEO audit and 10–15 prioritised before/after fixes you can hand to your team.
The first deliverable is a ranked list of 15 target queries — chosen with you in week one based on your ICP, commercial intent and current SEO performance. We run those queries weekly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews, and capture every citation, brand mention, and competitor placement.
The second deliverable is a technical audit of your AEO surface: schema markup (FAQPage, Article, Organization, Person), llms.txt (or the lack of it), robots.txt rules for AI crawlers — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended — and the page-level structural issues that block extraction (missing X-is-Y intros, wall-of-text answers, FAQ blocks AI can't isolate).
The third deliverable is the punch-list — typically 10–15 changes, ranked by citation potential per hour-of-effort. Each item is written in BEFORE → AFTER format so a junior in-house dev or content editor can ship it without asking. We do not implement; you do.
You also get one 60-minute monthly review where Dmytro Popryadukhin walks the report, answers the "why" on every recommendation, and adjusts the punch-list for the next month.
Why is implementation not included at this price?
Because at $890/month it would be a tease. Implementation is real engineering hours; we keep Starter focused on diagnosis so the price stays honest.
We could bury 4 hours of dev time inside the Starter retainer and call it implementation, but it wouldn't move the needle. A real schema rollout across a B2B site is 8–20 hours of engineering by itself, and rewriting one pillar page to AEO standards takes a senior editor a full day.
Two paths from Starter: either your team executes the punch-list (we will answer questions on email) or you upgrade to Growth where implementation is the core deliverable.
Starter clients who execute 60%+ of the punch-list typically see 2–4 first AI Overview citations within months two and three — without spending a dollar more with us. That is the honest version of the offer.
How is this different from a generic SEO audit?
A traditional SEO audit measures rankings against humans clicking. We measure citations against AI systems summarising — different metric, different fixes.
A standard SEO audit will tell you about Core Web Vitals, internal linking, keyword cannibalisation. Useful, but those things don't directly answer "does ChatGPT cite us when our ICP asks the obvious question?" That is a different question with different evidence — answer-engine surfaces, not the ten blue links.
Our audit overlaps roughly 30% with classical SEO (technical hygiene matters either way) and 70% on AEO-specific layers: schema for AI extractability, llms.txt strategy, page-level structural compliance with the GS Playbook (X-is-Y intro, Quick Facts, H2-as-question, FAQ direct answer ≤ 30 words), and named-expert E-E-A-T signals.
If your last SEO audit was good, ours will mostly leave it alone and add the AEO layer on top. If it was generic, we'll flag the overlap.
Do the niche multipliers apply to Starter?
Yes. Crypto/fintech runs at ×2.0 ($1,780/mo), SaaS at ×1.15 ($1,025/mo), and local services at ×0.65 ($580/mo) off the base $890 rate.
The Starter base rate of $890 covers a clean B2B mid-market case. We adjust for niche economics on the four-factor formula in the methodology: YMYL regulation pressure, lead value, AEO competitiveness in the niche, and technical complexity.
For crypto and fintech, named experts cost more (regulatory bios, schema.org Person with sameAs to verifiable credentials) and the YMYL filter makes AI placements harder, so the rate sits at $1,780/month. For SaaS we run roughly base. For local services — clinics, single-jurisdiction law firms, regional real estate — the radius is small enough to drop to $580/month for a clean Starter-tier audit.
Premium local cases (luxury real estate, cosmetic surgery, top-tier corporate law) run at base — economics carry the premium even at small geo radius.
Frequently asked questions
How fast do we see results?
First citations typically land in months two or three, after 60%+ of the punch-list is implemented by your team.
AI Overview placements appear 14–60 days after structural fixes ship. ChatGPT and Perplexity citations follow if your pages are written for extraction — that is what the punch-list optimises for.
What if our SEO is already good?
Then 70% of our findings will be AEO-specific layers your audit didn't cover, and 30% will overlap with what you've already shipped.
Can we extend Starter beyond 3 months?
Yes. Most clients move to Growth in month four, but extending Starter for ongoing tracking is fine if you only want the diagnostic layer.
What do you need from us to start?
Search Console, GA4, GTM access (read-only is fine) and one named contact on your side. Discovery week takes 2–5 hours of your time total.
Want to scope this for your case?
A 30-minute discovery call is enough to know whether this package fits — and whether the niche multiplier lands the price where you want it.
